Conspiracy 04:48
It's all connected. Just look around. If you can't see it, baby, then you're just another frown. They've got the number. They'll make the call. But there ain't nobody home, and there never ever was at all. Hey! Conspiracy! Hey! Conspiracy? It's a delusion, but alarms do sound. And if you cry wolf out baby, then you'll shoot the doggy down. Don't be afraid, then. Or maybe do. You never know, they might be coming after you. Hey! Conspiracy! Hey! Conspiracy? It's never-ending. Everything's game. If you believe it, baby, then you only fan the flame. They'll never get it. Fear is the thing. They're busy watching over shoulders held in slings. Hey! Conspiracy! Hey! Conspiracy?

Say— that's the same as doing it. Wait— the delays assuage it. Time on the take to ruin it. “Stay,” that's the way, to sell 'em it. * * * Waste all the days believing it. Smile as the hands are threading it. Time on the take a-keepin' it. Right back to re- beginning it. * * * Say— that's the same as doing it. Wait— the delays assuage it. Time on the take— and seeing it— wake more each time you notice it. * * * Braced now to throw the wrench in it. Wait- ed enough to give 'em it. Time on the take— relinquish it. Now come apart from getting it!

Birdie 06:52
Flying circles, taking charge of the sky. Chasing biplanes, boasting, daring a try. Little birdie, only just passing by? All the sky now, just a glare in his eye. Old crow in the sky, walked up on the air and then joined in the flight. Port and starboard, crow's a-circling below. Keeping close now, wings a-gliding, but slow. Make a break and birdie widens his throw. Bearing down now, flyers risking a blow. Old crow in the sky, walked up on the air and then joined in the flight. Old crow in the sky. Joining in the flight. Walked up on the air. Boasting and a dare. Crowing all about! Planes eat crow and shout! Port, starboard he glides! Joining in the flight! Bored of playing, birdie sails away. Little biplanes, sigh relief newly gray. From a distance, birdie turns to foray... On the clouds now, big jetliners at play. Old crow in the sky, walked up on the air and then joined in the flight.

CONTESTANT ONE Let's start a revolution. CONTESTANT TWO Just wanna see the lights. And from THE AUDIENCE (in destitution) Sometimes it seems like we don't have no rights. - - - Cut to THE HERO through the smoke and mirrors. (shots ring) he dies THE AUDIENCE (aghast) We'd put our faith in something we could see, oh but now that he's gone the end has come at last! - - - (At the movies, waiting beneath the screen.) VILLAIN (be-knowing-smiled) I've got you where I need. HERO (a memory; a flashback of a victory) Don't waiting be beguiled by that which you cannot see. - - - MONTAGE A face twisted in realization. Arms raised in anger, ready for the fight. Now all amassed—finally retribution. END MONTAGE (as distractions crush their might) - - - (At the movies, waiting beneath the screen.) VILLAIN (be-knowing-smiled) I've got you where I need. CONTESTANTS (eyes a-glazed, in unison, hypno-fazed, speechless but for a word) Amazed, amazed, amazed. --SOLO-- (At the movies, waiting beneath the screen.) VILLAIN (be-knowing-smiled) I've got you where I need. HERO (a memory; a flashback of a victory) Don't waiting be beguiled by that which you cannot see. --INTERLUDE-- CONTESTANT ONE About that revolution... CONTESTANT TWO Nobody knows my plight. And from THE AUDIENCE (in opposition) Don't tread on me—you'll never have the right. - - - Cut to THE HERO, zoom out for the distance (frowning, he chides) THE AUDIENCE At last! We've seen it all, and we know it could be-o but we'd rather stay in chains of future's past. - - - (At the movies, waiting beneath the screen.) VILLAIN (be-knowing-smiled) I've got you where I need. AUDIENCE (synchronized, readied for the knowing eyes. But no plan to be on attack, just holding back the cries.

Signs 05:29
I've seen all these signs before! - - - Staring back all the time. Posted up, pay no mind. Give directions, mark the land. Giant letters, lines in sand. Had to see it, always there. Blind before, now ya gotta stare. I've seen all these signs before but noticed them just now for sure. - - - Now suspicious. What'd ya miss? Look around and you'll catch the drift. Looking over what you see dulls the colors and sharpens teeth. It's a journey— enjoy the ride. Along the roadway, catch the signs. I've seen all these signs before, but noticed them just now for sure. What stood right there (and all along) might just appear after this song.
